In 2025, the Adelaide White Ribbon Breakfast turned its focus to one of the most overlooked dimensions of violence against women — the devastating impact on children.

Under the theme Children: The Silent Victims, an expert panel featuring Katherine Pivetta, Che Stockley, Clinton Bennell, and student Jack Harrison explored how young people are affected by their exposure to domestic, family, and sexual violence.

Facilitated by award-winning journalist Lauren Novak, the conversation challenged attendees to rethink how systems and communities identify and respond to children as victims in their own right, leaving the room with a renewed sense of urgency and accountability.
