WAKE UP TO CHANGE

WAKE UP TO CHANGE

Micaela Cronin, Australia’s first Domestic, Family and Sexual Violence Commissioner addresses the Adelaide White Ribbon Breakfast in 2023.

Wake Up To Change (formerly known as the Adelaide White Ribbon Breakfast Committee) is an Adelaide-based committee dedicated to creating a South Australia where all women and children can live free from violence, fear, and disadvantage. Founded in 2008 by three women’s associations with a shared vision, what began as a local initiative has grown into a significant community effort.

Through our flagship event, the Adelaide White Ribbon Breakfast, and the generosity of our supporters, we have raised close to a quarter of a million dollars to fund programs that break the cycle of abusive behaviour and foster prevention through education, awareness, and early intervention.

Join us in making a lasting impact. Together, we can empower our communities to stand against violence towards women and children and build a future where safety and respect are a reality for everyone.
